Brigitte Ardossi (born 7 August 1987 in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia) is a professional basketball player who was the 21st draft pick by the Atlanta Dream in the 2010 WNBA Draft.[1] She played college basketball for Georgia Institute of Technology for four years prior to the WNBA.[2] Ardossi is a power forward that joins the team with basketball experience on the international level.
At Georgia Tech, Ardossi played in 130 games, starting in 82 of them. At the conclusion of her career, she was one of only 24 Georgia Tech women's players to score 1,000 points in a career. Ardossi is also a member of the winningest senior class in the program history with 88 wins.
Ardossi played with several championship-winning teams in Australia. Most recently, she played with the Melbourne Tigers' Championship Division team. She was also selected for the 2005–06 Under-20 Australian National Junior Championships in Western Australia, where she represented Victorian Junior Basketball and helped her team to the silver medal. Ardossi was named the 2005 Big V Australian Basketball League MVP and leading scorer while also earning Rising Star and All-Star 5 Forward accolades.
